This month is host to Friends of the Earth’s campaign ‘Meat Free May’, where they are asking people to take up the challenge of going a month without meat, in order to show that it is possible for all of us to reduce our consumption. Many people habitually eat at least two meat based meals every day, and as a result there seems to be a recurring claim amongst meat eaters that they struggle with the idea of teaching themselves how to cook ‘meat free’ meals and still get the right balance of nutrients etc. However, our over-consumption is damaging the planet. It contributes to 14.5% of total global greenhouse gas emissions and is one of the causes of deforestation and climate change, as well as not being super great for your health.

So, in honour of ‘Meat Free May’, we wanted to help inspire the ‘veggie-phobes’ out there, and have curated a list of of members of Revival Collective’s favourite ‘meat free meals’!
